PK83914: DFSURWF1 IS INCORRECT IN PREFIX RESOLUTION JCL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DFSURWF1 DD statement is built incorrectly for two different
  situations:
  1) For Parallel Reorg Databases, the JCL for the Prefix
     Resolution step contains a DFSURWF1 DD with a non existent
     dataset name.
  2) For Reorg Databases, the JCL for the Prefix Resolution step
     contains a DFSURWF1 DD with missing datasets for the DB
     that is logically related to the DB being reorg'd.

  IMS PARALLEL REORGANIZATION
   THE PREFIX RESOLUTION JCL DID NOT INCLUDE ALL THE DFSURWF1
   DATA SETS CREATED DURING THE REORG.
   THE JCL ALSO USED A DFSURWF1 NAMING CONVENTION USED IN
   NON-HP LOAD JCL.
  

Problem conclusion

• THE SIDLJPDS MEMBERS, IDLIRE07 AND IDLIPR04 HAVE BEEN UPDATED
  TO USE THE CORRECT DFSURWF1 DATA SETS.
