IBM Records Manager engine and database operating systems
The IBM Records Manager engine and database server require one of the following operating systems.
Virtualization support: The following versions of Microsoft Windows are also supported on VMware ESX 3.5 and 4.0. The following versions of AIX are also supported when using IBM PowerVM virtualization.
Note: When the IBM Records Manager database is co-located with the IBM DB2 Content Manager library server database, besides the following combinations of operating systems and database servers that IBM Records Manager supports, additional combinations of operating systems and database servers for the IBM DB2 Content Manager library server database are also supported. For more information, see Which operating systems and database servers are supported when the IBM Records Manager database is co-located with the IBM DB2 Content Manager library server database.
