APAR status

Error description

• SQLCODE204 (-204) after apply of UK39168.
  Instead of trying to access DB2PM tables, PE Server should first
  test their availability upon start up by issuing a query against
  the system catalog. If the tables are not available all function
  requiring the tables will be disabled to avoid -204 (a warning
  message will be issued).

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2PM database will be created      *
  *                      when PWH is launched for the first      *
  *                      time. This will then also create all    *
  *                      DB2PM tables for instance the one for   *
  *                      the processing of DB2 Connect. But      *
  *                      if PWH has never been launched, the     *
  *                      tables will not be created and a        *
  *                      SQLCode -204 will be fired when         *
  *                      accessing the tables.                   *

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  When using history and DB2 Connect, the OMPE Server is
  accessing DB2PM tables, but if PWH has not been launched the
  tables are not created. So SQLCode -204 is fired when there
  are being accessed.
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  Before accessing the DB2PM tables in DB2 Connect, we will check
  the presence of the DB2PM database.
