Error description
After applying PK70149, started seeing classcast exceptions.
Local fix
Problem summary
When a SessionTimesout we try to flush the SessionCache, and cast the User object to a String rather than User When a SessionTimesout we try to flush the SessionCache, and cast the User object to a String rather than User. This result in a ClassCastException at the end of cleanup processing. This issue was introduced with PK70149.
Problem conclusion
In porting the original fix for PK70149 from 6.1 to 6013 there was a change in how WCM stores the User information in the session. In 6.0.1.x the User object in stored, in 6.1 a String is stored, so we end up casting to the wrong type of object. A fix for this problem is available for WCM 6.0.1.3 from Fix Central at: http://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/fixcentral/swgquickorde r?brandid=2&productid=Workplace%20Web%20Content%20Management&fix es=6.0.1.3-WCM-PK70695
