Error description
PK03026 introduced persistent.session.level=3, but the InfoCenter documents only 0, 1, and 2 here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wpdoc/v6r0/index.jsp?to pic=/com.ibm.wp.ent.doc/wps/adcfgpss.html If persistent.session.level is set to 3, users will stay on the login page after logging in, rather than being redirected to another page.
Local fix
persistent.session.level can be set to 3 even though it is not documented in the InfoCenter. The InfoCenter documents setting configuration properties: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wpdoc/v6r0/index.jsp?to pic=/com.ibm.wp.ent.doc/wps/adsetcfg.html The basic steps are: - Access the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administrative Console. - Go to Resources > Resource Environment Providers. - Choose WP ConfigService. - Click Custom Properties. - Add or edit persistent.session.level as appropriate. - Refer to the InfoCenter for special considerations when setting configuration properties in clusters. - Restart WebSphere Portal. Refer to the InfoCenter for more complete documentation on setting configuration properties.
