Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The problem was that an input record was being used that contained a date, time or timestamp field. The logic tried to initialize the date/time field using data from the EZEGSV block, which at this point in the program was not allocated, thus causing the abend. The solution is to set up temporary date/time fields in a working storage variable instead, and use that to initialize with.
Problem conclusion
Software updated. Fixtest available.
