Change History
Rational Robot Version 7.0.3.9 contains defect fixes to previous versions of Rational Robot as well as the following enhancement:
- Rational Robot supports the Options feature of IBM Rational Quality Manager, through execution variables.
To use the Rational Quality Manager Options feature in Rational Robot, copy the RQMOption.dll file from the <Rational Test>\<RQMAdapter>\<lib> directory to the <Robot Project Folder>\TestAssets\Scripts\dll directory.
Use the sample Robot script NotepadOptionTest.rec available in the <Rational Test>\<RQMAdapter>\<lib> directory for information about using the Options feature in Rational Robot.
To execute Rational Robot scripts through Rational Quality Manager, do these steps:
- Select Tools > GUI Playback Options from the Rational Robot menu.
- In the Log tab, clear the prompt before overwrite log check box.
Note: The Options feature is supported only for Rational Robot scripts that are executed from Rational Quality Manager. The Options feature is not supported in stand-alone Rational Robot installations.

<b>Checksum data</b>
MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) is commonly used to check the integrity of files. It is a cryptographic hash function with a 128-bit hash value.
A cryptographic hash function is a deterministic procedure that takes an arbitrary block of data and returns a fixed-size bit string, the (cryptographic) hash value, such that an accidental or intentional change to the data will change the hash value. An MD5 hash is typically expressed as a 32 digit hexadecimal number.
