Abstract

Download the Netezza Connector, Balanced Optimization for Netezza, Metadata Asset Management for Netezza, and Netezza data lineage for Metadata Workbench

Download Description

  1. Required: Download and install the Netezza Connector.


  2. Optional: If you are licensed for InfoSphere Balanced Optimization, and planning to use it with Netezza, then additionally download and install Balanced Optimization support for Netezza. In addition to Netezza support, the patch also includes fixes for the following APARS: JR36422, JR36778, JR37472, JR37838, JR37894, JR37940, and JR39800.


  3. Optional: If you are licensed for InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, and planning to use it with Netezza, then download and install Metadata Workbench data lineage support for Netezza. In addition to data lineage support, the patch also includes fixes for the following APARS: JR40853, JR40669, JR40674, JR40932, JR40444, JR40790, JR40882, JR41108, JR41145, JR40417 and JR41258.


  4. Optional: Download InfoSphere Metadata Asset Management support for Netezza.


Prerequisites

The Netezza Connector must be installed first, prior to installing any of the optional components listed above.

Installation Instructions

The Netezza Connector and all optional components are installed by using the Information Server Update Installer. The Connector and each component should be installed one at a time, following the instructions provided in the README file within each component patch. Instructions for using the Information Server Update Installer are available online, published at the location below.
