Error description
RD/z incorrectly interprets a 31-bit address with the high order bit on in remote debugger perspective
Local fix
Problem summary
The debug UI would take addresses in the memory view and send them to the Debug Tool engine as they appear in the UI
Problem conclusion
The debug UI needs to pass addresses to Debug Tool to verify they are valid. In this specific case Debug Tool will modify the address to make it valid. The modified address is then used for memory content retrieval and display. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.1 Refresh Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
