Error description
My customer hit the known issue logged as COGCQ00198495 and they applied Hotsite build 8.4.28.1114. However, blank window of Cognos Viewer has come to appear when viewing QS report in Excel after that. See the attached testcase for more detail. (Environment) Cognos8.4 + FP2 + 8.4.28.1114 + WinXP SP2 JA + IE6 -- reproduced. Cognos8.4 + FP2 + WinXP SP2 JA + IE6 -- reproduced. Cognos8.4 GA + WinXP SP2 JA + IE6 -- not reproduced. (Workaround) Close the blank window manually.
