    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    THE HP RELOAD JCL SKIPS THE DEL/DEF FOR INDEX DATABASES IF THEIR
    ALPHABETICAL ORDER COMES PRIOR TO THEIR PRIMARY DATABASE.
    THE JCL GENERATOR FOR HP RELOAD FINDS THE PRIMARY DATABASE IN
    AN ALPHABETICAL LIST OF DATABASES AND BEGINS PROCESSING FROM
    THERE. IT DOESN'T GO BACK TO THE TOP OF THE LIST TO PICK UP
    RELATED INDEX DATABASES.

    THE RECON MAINTENANCE PANELS FOR DELETE SUBSYSTEM, CHANGE AND
    NOTIFY SECLOGS, AND NOTIFY PRILOGS HAD SSID FIELDS THAT WERE
    TOO SHORT. SSIDS MAY BE UP TO 8 CHARACTERS.

Problem conclusion

  • IDLGNJCX HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO RESCAN THE DATABASE LIST FOR THE
    HP RELOAD JOB TO PICK UP ALL RELATED DATABASES FOR THE DEL/DEF
    JCL PROCESS.
    RECON MAINTENANCE PANELS WERE CORRECTED TO ALLOW 8 CHARACTERS
    FOR SSID VALUES.

Temporary fix
