Error description

  • Doing online reorginization with DBD changes and IMS V11,
message "HRF01139E Post reorginization processing failed in
implementing online" occurs. This happens when using dynamic
    allocation for ACBLIB's.
This occurs because of the dynamic ACBLIBs. We are looking
for both A and B, and fail when one is missing.
This APAR also fixes a problem with a
dynamic allocation failure during COPY phase.
The primary index is recreated during the copy
phase. This requires to sort the root keys. However,
the sort work files are allocated too large.

This APAR is correcting the following:
    1. IMS V11 is used together with dynamic ACBLIB on.
ORF fails due to missing ACBLIBA/B
A DBD change has been done together with a request to replace
the DMBs. ORF will go to all IMS systems and extract the
ACBLIBA and B datasets. This failes due to dynamic allocation
    for one of the two.
    2. Dynamic allocation failure during COPY phase.
The primary index is recreated during the copy phase. This
requires to sort the root keys. However, the sort work files
    allocated too large.

Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made for the above problems:
    1. Code has been changed to detect dynamic ACBLIB.
When detected, the ACBLIBs must be provided in the
ORF JCL. An error message is provided when ACBLIBA
or ACBLIBB are not in the JCL.
    2. Code has been changed to allocate the sort work files
    more accurate.
