This APAR is correcting the following problems:
    1.ABEND 0Cx in BMP driver.
The application program is in AMODE 24. When the ORF
BMP driver detects a CHKP call, it calls the "pause" check
module. That module returns in AMODE 31 all the time causing
      the abend.
2.HALDB not recognized when "pause" request was done.
When the BMP driver gets a "pause" request, an indication
was set to identify a HALDB. This was not set in all cases.
    3.Diagnostics for failed "pause" requests.
No messages have been issued to display the status and the
failure reason of the BMP driver.

Problem conclusion

  • The following corrections have been made for the above
    mentioned problems:
1.The "pause" routine has been changed to return in callers
      AMODE.
2.The "pause" check routine has been changed to indicate a
      HALDB correctly.
3.Add more WTOs to display the BMP status.
