Error description
Summary: ******** Not able to add any type of relation between ConstraintBlocks in Rhapsody 7.5. Description: ************ While working with the SysML profile, in the previous versions o f Rhapsody we had the ability to draw various type of relations between ConstraintBlocks. With the 7.5 version of Rhapsody, this no longer seems to be possible. If we try to add a relation bet ween the ConstraintBlocks in Rhapsody 7.5, it throws up an error stating that the type of relation cannot be added to elements o f type of Constraint Block.
Local fix
Problem summary
Unable to add any type of relation between ConstraintBlocks in Rhapsody 7.5.
Problem conclusion
This is in accordance with constraint 1 of SysML 1.1 section 10.3.2.1 (Constraint Block) We do allow Constraint Blocks to own constraint properties and all types of depndencies (satisfy, allocate, etc.) We believe that no other types of dependencies such as associations or parts should be used. If this is problematic we should understand exactly why and what is the type of relations required - we may consider some backward compatibility or specific hidden property to allow this in such a case
Temporary fix
