Error description
If you have a user who is in the Powerplay administrators group, and there are objects in the public folders (packages, folders etc) that you have denied them access to, you will not be able to expand public folders in PP admin in Cognos admin. If you grant permissions to every object in public folders, there is no problem. The user should be able to see whatever he has access to. THe error in the portal is: Failed to obtain properties. If you deny permissions on the first object in public folders (call it package A), the error in the log will complain about A. If you now grant access to A and then deny access to package B, the log will complain about package B and so forth.
