Error description

  • When IPR Driver issues NOTIFY.REORG and NOTIFY.IC, IPR Driver
records DBRC REORG and IC timestamps in RECON.  But the
timestamps are earlier than the timestamp of /DBD that is issued
by IPR Driver using TOSI.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The timestamps in NOTIFY.REORG and      *
*                      NOTIFY.IC commands are earlier than the *
*                      timestamp of the /DBD command.          *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
****************************************************************
IPR Driver issues NOTIFY.REORG and NOTIFY.IC commands
with the RUNTIME(timestamp) parameter to DBRC. The specified
timestamps are earlier than the timestamp of the /DBD command
or /DBR command.

When DBSHARE=YES, the timestamps should be later than the
timestamp of the /DBD command. When DBSHARE=NO, the timestamps
should be later than the timestamp of the /DBR command.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • IPR Driver has been modified to set the timestamps in the
NOTIFY.REORG and NOTIFY.IC commands correctly.
