Guardium Certificate Expiration Warning - equifax_secure_certificate_authority

Troubleshooting

Problem

When I login to the GUI I get the 'alarm bell' warning:

The following certificates expire on the listed dates. To avoid loss of function, obtain new certificates and install them using the cli. equifax_secure_certificate_authority 22-8-2018

Symptom

Cause

The warning appears 6 months before any certificates installed on the appliance expire.

The equifax_secure_certificate_authority certificate is shipped in the Guardium product.

Resolving The Problem

This certificate is not used by Guardium and will be removed in a future release.  There is no impact to Guardium functionality due the expiry of this certificate.  This warning can be ignored.

If you wish to remove this warning, please install patch v10.0p1162 Fix Central.
