You can migrate the audit database contents from Cognos BI to Cognos Analytics by following the steps you would perform for a content store upgrade.
Steps:
1. Stop services on the original environment. Have the DBA back up the existing audit database to be safe.
2. Restore the back up database from step 1 to a new database.
3. Configure the new IBM Cognos Analytics environment to point to the restored database from step 2 and test the connection to be sure it works.
4. Start the services on the new environment.
