Comments
Problem has been resolved. When DB2 Object Compare is supposed to generate a DROP TABLESPACE statement for an explicit LOB tablespace which is referenced by an auxiliary table, DB2 Object Compare will end with a return code 8 and issue the following error message: '(E)A DROP statement is supposed to be generated for explicit LOB table space dbname.tsname which is referenced by AUX table tbowner.tbname. The AUX table must be dropped first'. The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS User's Guide will be updated to describe the current restriction on changing the name of the auxiliary table by using the RENAMETB feature. The paragraph to be updated is in Chapter 7 (Batch compare program), section 'Renamed objects' under topic 'Special considerations for comparing DB2 objects': Before update: Restriction: Rename of an implicit index is not supported. After update: Restriction: Rename of an implicit index is not supported. Rename of an auxiliary table is not supported.
