Error description
When using IBM Rational ClearCase with Rational Common Licensing (Flex/LM) in an interop configuration with Microsoft Windows and Unix hosts, users may consume multiple licenses if the UNIX usernames contain mixed case. According to https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21307169 this issue was resolved for cases where the Windows usernames used mixed case. However, the automatic-lowercase of the OS user names was not done in the Unix license client. The only workaround is currently to rename all UNIX usernames to be fully-lowercase. When pulling user ID information from an LDAP repository, this could be an impractical alternative.
