PM45914: COMPATIBILITY WITH QMF FOR WORKSTATION FIX PACK 4

Error description

• This APAR will provide compatibility support for QMF for
  TSO/CICS with QMF for Workstation/WebSphere Version 10 FixPack4.
  The RUNTSO command synonym is added to the default
  QMF for TSO/CICS command synonym table Q.COMMAND_SYNONYMS.
  Default command synonym tables for the following server
  types will be updated:
  DB2 for z/OS - Q.COMMAND_SYNONYMS (Base English QMF)
                 Q.COMMAND_SYNONYM_n (QMF NLF)
  DB2 for LUW, DB2 for iSeries - Q.COMMAND_SYN_TSO (Base Eng QMF)
                                 Q.COMMAND_SYN_TSO_n (NLF QMF)
  n represents a valid QMF NLF id as listed in the
  QMF Installing and Managing Guide.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In order for QMF for TSO/CICS users to  *
  *                      remain compatible with QMF for          *
  *                      Workstation/WebSphere V10.1 Fix Pack 4, *
  *                      a new QMF for TSO/CICS command synonym  *
  *                      RUNTSO should be installed. The         *
  *                      installation process for the RUNTSO     *
  *                      command synonym is provided via this    *
  *                      APAR.                                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A new QMF for TSO/CICS command synonym, RUNTSO, is being
  provided via this fix. RUNTSO allows QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 to
  be compatible with QMF for Workstation/WebSphere V10.1
  Fix Pack 4 and higher.
  

Problem conclusion

• After applying this fix:
  *
  QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 base English users who have not
  previously installed QMF V10.1 and plan to do a new
  QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 installation into a database that
  does not have a previous level of QMF do not need to do any
  extra steps.  This PTF contains updates that are to be included
  when running job QMF1010.SDSQSAPE(DSQ1BLNI).
  *
  All other users must run job QMF1010.SDSQSAPE(DSQ1PTF1).
  This includes the following situations:
  -QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 users who have already completed their
  installation or migration to QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 prior to
  installing this PTF.
  -QMF for TSO/CICS users who migrate to QMF V10.1
  and QMF for TSO/CICS NLF users who migrate to QMF V10.1.
