This document describes how to sort a data set using multiple data set columns
Answer
1) Under the column header on the context toolbar under 'Other Sort Options' select 'Edit Layout Sorting'
2) Drag Data items from the 'Data items' under the Detail Sort List under 'Groups'
3) Move each item up and down the sort order and set each open to ascending or descending as required
4) Click 'Ok' and this should now be applied
