Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to select the radio button next to ‘Delivery’ delivery method leads to the error Ship node cannot be determined based on the order lines and sourcing configuration.
Symptom
Steps to Replicate –
1) Create an item and associate delivery/provided service to it.
2) Adjust inventory and configure sourcing rule with appropriate nodes
3) Login to Web Call Center and navigate to Add Items screen by creating a new order.
4) Select radio button next to ‘Delivery’ delivery method.
5) Click next.
Result :
The execution halts with the following error on page – ““Ship node cannot be determined based on the order lines and sourcing configuration"
Expected:
On clicking next, the control should move to Fulfillment Summary Screen.

Diagnosing The Problem
Delivery Sourcing Rule is not setup and Capacity is not assigned for the Resource Pool
Resolving The Problem
In order for the availability information w.r.t ‘Delivery’ delivery method to be available, following conditions need to be ensured –
1) The PROD_ITEM must have available inventory and there should be a default shipping sourcing rule defined under Application Configurator > DOM > Cross Application > Order Promising > Sourcing and Scheduling > Basic Configuration. This sourcing rule should further be defined under Product Being Shipped > Sourcing Rules section with appropriate nodes.
2) The PROD_ITEM should be configured to be monitored by ‘Real Time Availability Monitor Agent’ (RTAM) under Applications Configurator > Application Platform > Process Modelling > General (process type) > Transactions.
3) RTAM agent should be run at least once and corresponding availability record should be present in YFS_INVENTORY_ALERTS table.
4) Configure Resource Pool and add Capacity for the delivery service associated with the above PROD_ITEM on the given node.
5) Configure Delivery sourcing rule under Application Configurator > DOM > Cross Application > Order Promising > Sourcing and Scheduling > Product Being Delivered > Sourcing Rules, to read for the delivery item's availability on the concerned node.
