Problem
The usage of Custom View in IBM Rational Rhapsody browser has no effect, also a new filter cannot be created.
Symptom
You set a Custom View in Rhapsody browser but the elements are not filtered, the filter cannot be selected, and a new filter cannot be created.
Cause
This behavior is caused in most cases by a read only Rhapsody project because temporary tags and category folder need to be added for saving the view settings.
Diagnosing The Problem
Creating a Custom View is not possible, selecting an existing View has no effect
Resolving The Problem
Load the model in read/write mode to allow creating of temporary filter tags and category item.
