Error description

  • A string constant being a numerical representation is unloaded
as char data despite the DSNTIAUL STRICT format is requested
(via the FORMAT DSNTIAUL STRICT option in SYSIN or by the
DSNTIAULSTRICT(YES) setting for ULOPTNS).

Local fix

  • Specify DB2 FORCE to get string constant unloaded as varchar
data. Be aware that this change may have important impacts on
performance.

The inzctrl module was changed not to handle string constant
containing a representation of numerical data as a string
instead of a number.
