Error description
In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, using Change Management with VALIDATE WSL = Y, RUNSTATS = B and UO for Runstats SHRLEVEL set to R, Analyze job fails with sqlcode = -104. . Message in joblog as follows: DSNT408I SQLCODE = -104, ERROR: ILLEGAL SYMBOL "SHRLEVEL". Problem conclusion
Problem has been resolved. You can manually remove the redundant utility options from the RUNSTATS utility or re-generate the job. In the case of Change Management, you can re-analyze the change and then proceed normally.
