• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' APPLY jobs fails with a
  return code 1012 / RC1012 and a message:

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool and     *
  *                 the DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS who  *
  *                 run an APPLY job to insert a NOT NULL NO     *
  *                 DEFAULT column into a table and choose High  *
  *                 Performance Unload (HPU) as the UNLOAD       *
  *                 method.                                      *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Administration Tool's APPLY     *
  *                      job fails in the ADB27AC CONVERT step   *
  *                      with error message ADBC139E:            *
  *                      INTFIN and C001 mismatch. Columns       *
  *                      not Equal, when High Performance        *
  *                      Unload (HPU) is used as the Unload      *
  *                      method.                                 *

  *                      This APAR also fixes the following      *
  *                      problems:                               *

  *                      1. In the APPLY DDL, partition          *
  *                      number in the ALTER PARTITION           *
  *                      statement is truncated when the         *
  *                      partition number is greater than        *
  *                      100, which causes SQLERROR =            *
  *                      -644 / SQLCODEN644 during the           *

  *                      STRINGSIZE condition was raised,        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The DB2 Administration Tool's APPLY job fails in the ADB27AC
  CONVERT step with error message MSGADB139E:
  INTFIN and C001 mismatch. Columns not Equal, when High
  Performance Unload (HPU) is used as the Unload method.
  
  This APAR also fixes the following problems:
  
  1. In the APPLY DDL, partition number in the ALTER
  PARTITION statement is truncated when the partition
  number is greater than 100, which causes SQLERROR =
  -644 / SQLCODEN644 - 'INVALID VALUE SPECIFIED FOR
  KEYWORD OR CLAUSE PART IN STATEMENT ALTER'
  during the APPLY.
  
  2. Compare issues message IBM0441W ONCODE150 The
  STRINGSIZE condition was raised, From entry point
  ALTERED_DROPFK.  Compare may fail with ABEND=S000
  U4083 REASON=00000002.
