  • In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, Auth Switching uses
program IKJEFT01 instead of ADBTEPA.

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
*                 z/OS that would like to use the              *
*                 Authorization Switching capability of the    *
*                 product.                                     *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Currently, the authorization switching  *
*                      function is not enabled and if that     *
*                      function is selected, it will not be    *
*                      used.                                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
This maintenance enables the authorization switching function
which when used will produce an authorization header and
authorization switching timestamps. Additionally, ADBTEPX will
be used instead of ADBTEP2 if authorization switching is
requested. This module will interpret these statements.
