After importing a font, the column does not show any data

Problem

After using the following documentation to add in a font, the data does not appear. https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSEP7J_11.0.0/com.ibm.sw… For example, when using a barcode font, the data does not appear.

Symptom

No data displayed when using the imported font.

A user can select the font in report design, however, when they run the report, no data appears.

The font requires that you add additional formatting to the data,

Each font may have specific requirements.

Research the details for the font and any additional requirements it may have from the download source.

For example some barcode fonts require for you to show barcode 123 it must be '*(123)*'
