Error description
'Measured packet jitter is 1199176 milliseconds greater than expected' error for RPT HTTP recording
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** On some systems, (virtual for example), the machine performance counter loops on 32 bits instead of using 64 bits. Read timestamps become negative, and the test generation fails when trying to reorder recorded packets.
Problem conclusion
If RPT finds the -DrecorderCore32BitsClock=True setting in the eclipse.ini, it will detect such environments and adjust the timestamps so they won't become negative. This is not active by default to avoid unnecessary overhead in normal cases.
Temporary fix
