This Technote explains how to create a URL that can be used to bypass the options for selecting the Planning Analytics admin host and model name on the TM1Web login page without setting an admin host or model name in the tm1web_config.xml file. This technique may be useful in cases where there are multiple Planning Analytics models but only a single instance of TM1Web.
Answer
A URL can be provided to users that allow them to bypass the options on the TM1Web login page that require the user to select an Admin Host and Planning Analytics model name. Consider the following example:
http://planweb.domain.com:9510/tm1web?adminhost=plandata.domain.com&tm1server=Planning%20Sample
- planweb.domain.com is the host name of the system running TM1Web
- plandata.domain.com is host name of the system running the Planning Analytics admin host and Planning Analytics model
- Planning Sample is the name of the Planning Analytics model (replace the space character with %20)
