Troubleshooting
Problem
Applications folder security reset after TM1 Server restart. All users are able to access all Applications folder and templates which were secured based on security groups
Cause
Empty rule file with the name }ApplicationSecurity attached to the Control Cube }ApplicationSecurity
Resolving The Problem
1) Open the Architect and login to Server using ADMIN user
2) Go to View and check 'Display Control Objects'
3) Expand Cubes and then expand the Control Cube }ApplicationSecurity and delete the empty rule file with the name }ApplicationSecurity
4) Right click the TM1 Server and click on Security and then Refresh Security
