Allow purge without exporting or archiving setting is always enabled for Data Archive

Troubleshooting


Problem

Under Manage>Data Archive I uncheck the box for 'Allow purge without exporting or archiving' and save the configuration. Next time I return to the Data Archive page, this box is checked.

Symptom

Deselecting 'Allow purge without exporting or archiving' is not persistent for Data Archive

Cause

This is a known issue that will be resolved in a future release

Diagnosing The Problem

Manage>Data Archive>Allow purge without exporting or archiving. Uncheck this box. Leave page and return. Check the configuration

Resolving The Problem

As an interim solution - Manage>Data Export uncheck the 'Allow purge without exporting or archiving' box and save the configuration. This will make the configuration persistent for Data Archive as well.
