Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 High Performance Unload. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When unloading the data from an image *
    *                      copy of a partition-by-growth table     *
    * space, only the data of the first *
    * partitions from the image copy are *
    * unloaded. This occurs where: *
    * - either the table space in the DB2 *
    * subsystem where the unload is *
    * performed has less partitions than the *
    * table space at the time when the image *
    *                      copy was created;                       *
    * - or the unload command specifies the *
    *                      DDLDDN option.                          *
    * In the later case, only the first *
    * partition is unloaded since the table *
    * space is considered as just created *
    *                      (and not populated).                    *
    *                      PB 11083                                *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    inzpab and inzpabf were changed to process as many partitions
    as present in the image copy regardless up to the MAXPARTITION
    value of the table space.

Problem conclusion

  • APPLY the PTF.
