    *                 (FMID=H25N410).                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Change default for ILDSBLD control *
    *                      statement.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
This APAR changes default for ILDSBLD control statement from
    ILDSBLD=YES or C to ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR, and makes ILDSBLD=YES
    obsolete.

This changes will affect the following conditions:
    - If ILDSBLD statement is not specified, ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR will
be used as a default instead of ILDSBLD=YES or C.
    - If ILDSBLD=YES is specified, ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR will be used.

ILDSBLD=YES is disabled because this option requires excessive
amount of data space and can cause a wait or an S0C4 problem by
    a restriction of DFSMS.

If you use an installation default option for IPR Reload
utility, re-create the installation default option module after
applying this APAR to reflect the change. Otherwise, ILDSBLD=C
    will remain as the default.

IMS Database Reorganization Expert for z/OS Version 4 Release 1
    User's Guide SC19-1137-01 ( SC19113701 ) should be changed as
    follows:
    ================================================================
    3.5.2.2.16 ILDSBLD control statement

Specifies whether the ILDS for the HALDB is to be built in the
Smart Reorg job step. The statement is valid only for a HALDB.
    |This control statement is optional. If you do not explicitly
    |specify this control statement, ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR is used.
        __________________________________________________________
    | | |
    | | _YES,DSPR_______ |
       | >>__ILDSBLD=__|________________|______________________>< |
       | |_NO_____________| |
       |__________________________________________________________|

    |If you specify ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR, ILDS for each HALDB partition
    |that is reorganized is built in the shadow ILDS in the Smart
    |Reorg job step. Unlike the IMS HD Reorganization Reload utility
    |(DFSURGL0), which updates the indirect list entries (ILEs)
    |in the original ILDS, the Smart Reorg utility creates new ILEs
    |in the shadow ILDS. For the data flow of the ILDS building,
    |see the figures in |Data and process flow of the Parallel
    |Reorganization Service in topic 3.3.2.
    |For the details of how the DD names and data set names for the
    |shadow ILDS are determined when ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR is specified,
    |see Database, primary index, and ILDS in topic 3.5.1.3.
    |If you specify ILDSBLD=NO, no shadow ILDS is built. If the
    |HALDB has ILDS and ILDSBLD=NO is specified, you must rebuild
    |ILDS after the Smart Reorg job. To do this, scan the
    |reorganized database by using DFSPREC0.

    |Notes:
    | - The ILE records that are created by the Smart Reorg
    | utility with ILDSBLD=YES are the same as those created by
    | DFSPREC0.
    | - ILDSBLD=YES is obsolete and if you specify ILDSBLD=YES,
    | ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR is used.

    5.3.2.19 ILDSBLD control statement

Specifies whether to build ILDS and how to build the ILDS.
This control statement is optional. If you do not explicitly
    |specify this control statement, ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR is used.
        __________________________________________________________
       | |
    | | _YES,DSPR_______ |
    | | >>__ILDSBLD=__|________________|______________________>< |
    | | |_C______________| |
       | |_NO_____________| |
       | |
       |__________________________________________________________|

    |YES,DSPR
    | ILDS is rebuilt with using less amount of data space than
    | the obsolete option ILDSBLD=YES.
    | In the process of rebuilding, the records of ILDS are
    | arranged in sequence of the key value by using DFSORT.
    | If you do not specify those DD statements, HPSRILEA,
    | HPSRILEB, and HPSRWKnn work data sets, which are used as
    | SORTIN and SORTWK data sets, are allocated dynamically.
    |
    |C
    | ILDS is rebuilt in the same manner of IMS HD
    | Reorganization Reload.

    NO
ILDS is not built. In this case, you must rebuild ILDS
after the reorganization of the database. To do this, sca
the reorganized database by using IMS HALDB Index/ILDS
           Rebuild Utility (DFSPREC0).

    |Note:
    | ILDSBLD=YES is obsolete and if you specify ILDSBLD=YES,
    | ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR is used.
