Question
How can a drill down on a crosstab be used to display only specific columns based on the Level the user is drilling to?
Answer
This requirement can be achieved using a Style Variable on the columns.
For the Style Variable to work a additional Data Item is requrired:
Based on the Level number that is returned by "Data Item 1" the String Variable is set up:
Now the Variable needs to be assigned to the columns that should be displayed via the Style Variable.
For a better understanding use the attached report specification based on the Cognos Sample data GO Data Warehouse (analysis)
The report is created without Full Interactivity.
