PM22686: RESTART OF A BMP AFTER AN ORF PAUSE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Restart of a BMP that has been PAUSE'd by ORF receives an
  ABENDU0456. When the PAUSE is initiated by ORF, the BMP is
  abended with ABENDU3303 but a PL/I ESTAE converts this to an
  ABENDU4001, this is why it is abended by IMS when it is
  restarted.
  This is for FITS requirement MR0709103144.

  Restart of a BMP that has been PAUSE'd by ORF receives
  an ABENDU0456.
  ORF abends with 3303, which does not stop the program in
  IMS.  However, the application has an ESTAE active, which
  creates a different abend code. This then is detected by
  IMS and the PSB is stopped.
  

Problem conclusion

• ORF will translate all abend codes from 4000 to
  4010 into 3303, when PAUSE was active.
