Include Navigation Pane for selected user not working in tm1web

Troubleshooting


Problem

NavTreeHidden functionality is not working when the TM1 Web navigation settings are changed for a selected non-admin user. 1.Clients/Groups in Architect, > Settings > Un-tick the Show Navigation box. 2. Client Settings > Apply to Selected Clients But when the relevant user logs into tm1web, the navigation is still there.

Cause

A rule that overrode permissions in the }CientSettings cube, some cells were rule-derived.

Environment

Parameter in web.config file - set allowoverwrite=true

Diagnosing The Problem

In Architect, options > show hidden attributes, open the }ClientSettings cube. Are any cells grayed out? Is so, Architect does not have sufficient Rights.

Remove or modify the relevant Rule
