Question
Why is the Perspective toolbar is not shown in a Rational Rhapsody SysML model, and the Perspective view selection is greyed out?
Cause
You want to use perspective views.
Answer
The perspectives are stored in the property General::Model::Perspectives in the file Share\Settings\SysMLPerspectives\SysMLPerspectives.prp.
This file is loaded in SysMLPerspectives.sbs by the property Model::Profile::PropertyFile.
When creating a new project select "SysMLPerspectives" in Project Settings:
In the Rhapsody model browser you see the SysMLPerspectives profile under category Settings:
If the property General::Model::Perspectives is invalid or empty then the Perspective selection in View -> Toolbars -> Perspective is not possible.
1. Check the property General::Model::Perspectives in the Rhapsody model to find out whether it is overwritten or empty.
2. Check the site.prp file (siteC++.prp, siteC.prp, ...) if it contains the property General::Model::Perspectives. This can happen by mistake when the entire subject/metaclass General::Model was copied from factory.prp with its default values. In that case the site.prp settings overwrite the SysMLPerspectives profile settings. You need to delete the property from your site.prp file.
