Troubleshooting


Problem

Error thrown attempting to drill thru from PowerPlay cube to a CQM report in an environment with server groups defined.

Symptom

DPR-ERR-2014 Unable to load balance the request because no nodes in the cluster are available, or no nodes are configured for the service: reportService.

Cause

PowerPlay Server cannot drill thru to CQM package based report unless it is in server group that includes a 32 bit report server with report service and batch report service enabled.

Resolving The Problem

If using server groups and you wish to schedule or drill thru to a CQM based report then the PowerPlay Server must belong to the same server group as as CA report server that is set to 32 bit report execution mode in Cognos Configuration.
