IBM Security Guardium (Guardium) - "NoClassDefFoundError" while performing a cleanup of archive/backup files on CENTERA

Problem

I am trying to use the CLI command [] support clean centera_files [] to delete archives/backups stored on Centera, but getting the following error: [] Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.log4j.Logger at com.guardium.utils.i18n.AbstractThought. Cause

In Guardium V9 GPU500 and beyond, the name of a JAR file has changed. This caused the CLASSPATH to not correctly set in the CLI command support clean centera_files .

Resolving The Problem

The FIX patch is GPU750 which can be downloaded from IBM FIX Central.

If you do not wish to upgrade the appliance to GPU750 yet, please contact Guardium Support to get an ad-hoc patch suitable for the current GPU version installed :
