Can you run manageDevice API be used to create device Subtype in IBM Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite?

You are looking for a API approach to create the Subtype.
Answer
Creation of new device type and creation of new device sub type are possible only through application manager. Currently, there are no exposed APIs for these operations.
manageDevice API can only be used to create devices and associate it to DeviceType and DeviceSubType. It cannot be used to create DeviceType or DeviceSubType.
