Question

When generating code in Rational Rhapsody why aren't all Check Model checks are executed, unlike when a manual Check Model is run from the Tools menu?

Cause

Running Check model from Rhapsody Tools menu reports more warnings than the automatic Check Model check does before code generation

Answer

There are some checks which have no impact on code generation.

In the Check Model configuration window (Tools -> Check Model -> Configure) there is a hidden column "Invoked on CG" on the right-hand side, which shows the checks invoked by the code generator.

To make this column visible you have to resize the existing columns.

Note that clicking to sort this column, currently causes Rhapsody to crash.
