Problem
I can see the STAP in the STAP Control pane in the GUI (Manage > Activity Monitoring > STAP Control) but I can't see the
Cause
The FAM monitor module is automatically installed with the STAP module. However a separate license is required for it to be activated.
If the STAP module is visible in the STAP Control pane, but the :FAM module is not, then it is likely that the FAM license is not installed.
Resolving The Problem
Please ensure that the FAM license is installed.
In Centrally Managed environment you can install the license on the Central Manager (CM) and this will be pushed down to the Managed Units.
In a stand alone appliance (and on the CM), you can install the license in the GUI under Setup > Tools and Views > License. Once installed it will look something like this:
