Troubleshooting
Problem
Reports fail when run in Excel 2007 format. The following detailed error message is logged in cogserver.log: CCL_ASSERT_NAMED(false, "Unsupported content type [RSXLSEWorkbook::addImageFile()]");
Cause
Images of PNG format are used in reports. PNG format is not supported according to the documentation at http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/data/cognos/documentation/docs/en/10.2.1/ug_cr_rptstd.pdf
Resolving The Problem
Remove PNG images from reports. Use JPG or GIFF formats that are supported.
