Issue with Continue link in Event Handler definition in IBM Sterling Order Management

Troubleshooting

Problem

Any action or set of actions added using a Continue link in the event handler definition is getting executed even if the condition fails.

Cause

Event handler definition is designed such that the action configured at the True link of a condition is executed when the condition returns True. However, if this action continues to another action, then this
subsequent action will be executed irrespective of whether the condition returns True or False.

The True action is for corrective actions which need to be done based on some condition. After this corrective action, the subsequent action is supposed to be executed for both True and False.

Resolving The Problem

One way to work around this behavior is to have a single action which invokes a service rather than continuous actions in the True branch.
