Error description

  • CCSID conversions that require length changes are not supported.
Such a request should be rejected by HPU.

The output CCSID provided via the CCSID option must ensure that:
    * the first CCSID of the list is a SBCS CCSID
    * the second CCSID of the list is a MIXED CCSID
    * the third CCSID of the list is a DBCS CCSID

When this condition is not fullfilled, the output fields can be
truncated. DB2 HPU should reject such requests.

For example : The following CCSID(1208, 1208, 1208) option which
is actually not supported is not rejected.

    PB11636

Local fix

  • Use a supported CCSID option specification.

The inzmain, inzctrl, inztoken, inzctrlh, inzmsgs, infoutie

Problem conclusion

  • APPLY the PTF.
