Question & Answer
Question
Is there a way to setup automatic restart of Guardium GUI once a day, or once a week?
Answer
We can use restart gui command from cli, to schedule a restart of Guardium GUI once a day, or a week.
Syntax:
restart gui [HHMM|HHMMW|clear]
- where HH is the hours 01-24,
MM is the minutes 01-60,
W is the day of week 0-6, Sunday is 0
If HHMM is listed twice, only the last entry is used.
The parameter clear deletes the scheduled time.
For example:
restart gui 2215 .. will restart the GUI every night at 10:15pm
restart gui 22150 .. will restart the GUI every Sunday night at 10:15pm
To remove the automatic restart of GUI from the schedule, you can run:
- restart gui clear
