News

Abstract

Do you need to provide High Availability for your IBM® Maximo® Asset Management environment? If so, this paper can help you understand the High Availability capabilities of the platform and how to assure that your environment is highly available.
Additional information
In today’s global environment, more and more companies need to operate across time-zones and in 24x7 calendars. They need to reduce their downtime to the minimum possible and look for continuous availability of their systems.
Products like IBM Maximo Asset Management play a role in such environments and thus also have continuous availability requirements. As part of that, it is important to understand the high availability (HA) capabilities of Maximo and how to assure that all the components of an HA solution are properly configured and tested to handle outages.
This paper provides an overview of HA concepts and then describes in detail the configuration and tests needed to fulfill the requirements for Maximo HA environments
