Question & Answer
Question
Why am I able to create users without any of the mandatory roles in Guardium v10?
Answer
There has been a design change in v10, where users can be created without one of the previously mandatory roles ('user', 'cli', 'admin', or 'accessmgr') being specified. Each user must have a least one role, but this does not have to be 'user', 'cli', 'admin', or 'accessmgr'. This was one of the changes to make it easier to create userids with minimal content and so that less is enabled by default for new userids.
